Event Description:
Leadership Johns Creek Partners with other Local Nonprofits & North Fulton Serves to Pay It Forward
 
May 9, 2015 will be Leadership Johns Creek’s 2nd Annual Hero for a Day of Service.  This year, Leadership Johns Creek is partnering with the Rotary Club of Alpharetta and North Fulton Serves to offer several volunteer projects within the local area.

Projects include working with Keep North Fulton Beautiful for road side and creek clean up as well as document shredding; Senior Services North Fulton for yard work, Wilson Creek Elementary School to help build eight, raised garden beds donated by Girl Scout Troop 27343 and the Wilson Creek PTA; and a Red Cross Blood Drive at the Shakerag Fire Department in Johns Creek.
All volunteers should meet at 8:00 AM at Panera Bread, 11715 Medlock Bridge Road in Johns Creek unless instructed otherwise.  Document Shredding will be from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at this Panera Bread.  The Red Cross Blood Drive will be at the Shakerag Fire Department, 10925 Rogers Circle from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The goal is to allow each city in the North Fulton community to come together and “pay it forward” to those who need a little support. How Can You Help? Simply gather your family, friends, and neighbors, register online, and come to have a wonderful time.
