GUEST SPEAKER: Rob Meyers, General Manager of Alcon Atlanta Manufacturing,
Alcon is the global leader in eye care. He is responsible for the site operations at the Johns Creek facility, which produces more than 1 billion contact lenses annually.
Prior to joining Alcon in February, 2013, Rob spent 15 years with General Electric (GE) where he held a range of management and quality positions with increasing responsibilities in the GE Healthcare, GE Aviation and GE Lighting businesses. Most recently, he was Site Executive for the medical device manufacturing Site in Waukesha, Wisconsin where Rob lead production and technical design transfer activities.
Rob earned a Bachelors and Masters in Chemical and Materials Engineering from the University of Findlay (Ohio). He also earned his MBA focused in Strategy and Operations Management from the Drucker Graduate School of Management, Claremont Graduate University.

Michelle Salvemini-Proby is the Women’s Imaging Manager for Gwinnett Breast Center, Hamilton Mill, and Care A Van. She is, by trade, a mammographer for 20 years and still gets in the mix of it all and does patients. She has been with Gwinnett Medical System for 13 years and is here today to share some information about breast cancer awareness, since it is the month of October.
