A morning filled with hope as we gather together in the park for an all levels yoga class on the lawn.
The money raised at this event will benefit Team Maggie For A Cure, Inc to educate and financially assist young adults and teens diagnosed with cancer providing them the opportunity to preserve their fertility. This opportunity "Keeps the Dream of Family Alive" for young adults who are facing the challenges of cancer treatment.
Come with comfortable clothes and remember to BRING A MAT!! This class will be an All Levels Practice.
Hope Knosher of Hope’s Yoga will be leading the class. Overcoming breast cancer years ago, Hope turned to yoga to help her heal. Her practice was so healing for her she felt called to share it with others. Hope believes that yoga is for everybody and specializes in meeting individuals where they are helping them grow their practice, inspiring and empowering each individual to live a more joyful and connected life and to be more of who they truly are.
Based in John’s Creek, Hope teaches weekly group classes in her studio and Whole Foods Johns Creek and leads yoga and hiking retreats in Sedona, Arizona! She also works with cancer survivors and those living with Multiple Sclerosis. She is passionate about helping others reduce chronic stress, increase awareness, compassion, and mindfulness; while strengthening body and mind.
Hope’s writing is featured in Mantra Yoga and Health Magazine, Natural Awakenings Magazine, MindBodyGreen, Lucy Activewear; and her own blog. Hope is honored to have been named “Best Of Atlanta” by Atlanta Magazine and one of Atlanta’s “Over 40 and Fabulous” by Best Self Magazine.

The 2017 Suwanee Beat Cancer Fest is filled with events that will raise money for a variety of cancer charities. Starting with the Expo at 7am, Bike ride to Lake Lanier(33 mile course) 7:30, Skylars Run 5K 8:00, Team Maggie Yoga In The Park 10am. Music and fun for all.
