Event Description:
Join us for lessons from the feminine leadership perspective. Ladies who lead will teach and tell stories about the paths taken, and obstacles overcome on their leadership journey.

Karyn Greer
Karyn Greer has been an integral part of the WSB-TV family since September 2022, anchoring Channel 2 Action News at 5 p.m. With over 30 years of experience as an anchor and investigative reporter in the Atlanta market, Greer is deeply committed to hands-on community involvement. She is frequently seen hosting fundraising events for causes such as breast cancer and Alzheimer?s throughout Georgia. Greer's leadership extends to her roles as the past president of the Atlanta Press Club and a current Board of Governors member for the National Academy of Television, Arts & Sciences. Recognized with 10 Southeast Emmy awards, two awards from the Atlanta Association of Black Journalists, and a Salute to Excellence award from the National Association of Black Journalists, Greer's impact is felt both professionally and within the community. A member of various organizations, including The Links Inc. and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., she consistently earns accolades, being named one of Atlanta's 100 Women of Influence and featured in Who?s Who in Black Atlanta.

Terrah J. Paul Olson, MD
Dr. Terrah J. Paul Olson is an esteemed assistant professor of surgery in the Division of Colorectal Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine. A board-certified general and colorectal surgeon, she completed her training at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and the University of Chicago Medical Center, respectively. Currently, Dr. Olson actively practices at Emory Johns Creek Hospital and Grady Memorial Hospital, where she also serves as Chief of Surgery and Medical Director of Surgical Services. With a commitment to excellence, her clinical expertise is coupled with leadership roles in surgical services. Dr. Olson's dedication to advancing medical knowledge and patient care marks her as a prominent figure in the field.


Amanda Ortega
Amanda Ortega is a burnout prevention specialist, speaker, and founder of Beyond Balance Coaching. With a passion for helping high achievers navigate success, Ortega speaks to corporate groups, conducts workshops, and coaches executives. Having experienced burnout herself, she created an operating system guiding leaders to overcome chronic stress and achieve success from a foundation of calm and resilience. Her book, "Inward to Upward: Discover Your Blueprint for True Success and Escape the Toxic Success Trap Forever," chronicles her burnout journey and offers a practical roadmap for healthy achievement. Ortega's transformative approach empowers leaders and teams to thrive, emphasizing a meaningful and sustainable approach to success.


Judge Rachelle Carnesale
Judge Rachelle Carnesale, appointed to the Fulton County Superior Court in June 2019, brings a wealth of experience to the bench. With 18 years as a prosecutor specializing in serious violent felonies, child abuse, and child homicides, she has a unique perspective shaped by diverse roles, including statewide director positions. In collaboration with educational entities, Judge Carnesale hosts student interns, providing them a firsthand look at the criminal justice system. Taking over the My Journey Matters Program in 2021, she focuses on education, training, and reform for young offenders facing significant mandatory sentences. Judge Carnesale's goals in the courtroom are rooted in ensuring expeditious proceedings, meaningful victim input, public protection from violent predators, and opportunities for change and growth for appropriate offenders. Dedicated to serving the citizens of Fulton County, she navigates challenges with a commitment to fairness and justice.
