Event Description:

Join us for lessons from the feminine leadership perspective. Ladies who lead will teach and tell stories about the paths taken and obstacles overcome on their leadership journey. 

Leading Ladies:

Marilyn Margolis - CEO,  Emory Johns Creek Hospital

Marilyn began her career at Emory Healthcare more than 35 years ago at Emory University hospital as a staff nurse in CCU. Marilyn has extensive experience leading quality initiative teams throughout the Emory Healthcare system in areas such as Emergency Services and ICU at Emory University Hospital and Emory University Hospital Midtown. She is the recipient of the Nursing Management?s Visionary leader award in 2007 and the Georgia Hospital Association?s 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award. In October 2017, Marilyn received the Distinguished Nursing Achievement Award, which is awarded to an Emory School of Nursing alumnus whose career has demonstrated continuous and exemplary contributions to the profession of nursing and/or healthcare. Marilyn received a Master?s in Nursing Administration from the Nell Hodgson Woodruff Emory University School of Nursing. She also has done post graduate work at Harvard Business School and the Woodruff Leadership Academy.



Glenett Hannah - LCSW, LMSW, CEO, Hannah Innovative Solutions
Glenett founded It?s My House2, Inc, DBA Hannah Innovative Solutions in 2015 and is a certified SDVOSB/WOSB consulting firm. Ms. Hannah is a graduate of Columbia University in NYC with a master?s in social work, an Associate Real Estate Broker (Ga), and she served in the US Army. She is an agent of change helping through holistic coping skills to handle PTSD, MST, bereavement, anxiety, depression, anger, and mental health diagnosis. Providing CBT (talk therapy) counseling for veterans and their families dealing with PTSD, MST, and suicide thoughts. Providing grief and suicidal prevention counseling. Providing group counseling, because "YOU are not alone". She also participates in Veteran Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship (V-WISE) and says her first love is giving back to Veterans.


Dr. Vonda Wright - Chief of Sports Medicine, Northside Hospital 
Dr. Vonda Wright is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopedic sports medicine surgeon who serves as the Chief of Northside Hospital Sports Medicine. Dr. Wright specializes in sports medicine for patients of all ages, and uses the latest in injury prevention, conservative care and minimally invasive surgery for any sports injuries, including disorders of the hip, shoulder and knee. In addition to providing skilled patient care, Dr. Wright served as an associate professor at the University of Pittsburgh Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, is a sought-after keynote speaker and has published three mainstream books. Her research has been published extensively, and she has served as an invited lecturer at some of the most esteemed symposiums in the world.


Shirley E. Borghi - Vice Chairman and Executive Director, Hispanic Health Coalition 
Shirley is a graduate of the Class of 2019 for Leadership Atlanta. Shirley serves as the Executive Director & Co-Vice Chairman of the Hispanic Health Coalition of Georgia, (HHCGA), a 501©(3) Non-Profit organization created to advance health policies which will improve access to services for Hispanic/Latino children and adults, create better health outcomes, prevention of Chronic Diseases and increased sustainability throughout the State. Founded in 1990, presently Georgia?s only statewide organization that focusing on better outcomes in Chronic Diseases to this population. Shirley has forged the organization forward into a policy, and advocacy subject matter expert as it relates to chronic diseases and behavioral sciences which impact our community. Shirley remains a recognized steward, positive game changer and subject matter expert by multiple national organizations, corporate partners, community stake holders, chronic disease experts and public policy/health think-tanks.
