Georgia House Democratic Caucus to Host
Georgia Small Business WeekATLANTA – Members of the Georgia House Democratic Caucus will host Georgia’s Small Business Week on Monday, March 18, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta.
The event will be hosted by State Representatives Doreen Carter (D-Lithonia), Debra Bazemore (D-South Fulton) and Dar'shun Kendrick (D-Lithonia), and it will feature a morning speaker, Mr. Shelley “Butch” Anthony III, who is the founder of the “This Is It!” barbeque restaurant. Constituents will have the opportunity to share opinions on the Georgia House Democratic Caucus’s Economic Development Committee’s legislative efforts to support small businesses in Georgia. Guests will also have the opportunity to lobby their legislators and attend a press conference on Georgia Small Business Week.
