According to the American Cancer Society, one in six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancerous death in men after lung cancer. If you are a man between the ages 50 and 74 or have a family history of the disease, join Gwinnett Medical Center for a FREE educational breakfast to learn the facts so that you can make an informed decision and begin discussions with your doctor.
The program will feature a prostate health presentation by Ronald Anglade, MD, a Gwinnett Medical Center affiliated and board-certified urologist. The program will cover the following topics:

  • What is the prostate?
  • What is prostate cancer?
  • How common is it?
  • Risks & symptoms
  • Who should be screened, and why?
  • Diagnosis & treatment options
All attendees will be entered in a drawing for an iPad3, and will receive a voucher for a FREE PSA Screening. Space is limited. All attendees will receive the Center for Disease Control (CDC) official prostate cancer screening decision guide and a prostate awareness wristband. Ladies are welcomed to attend.
