It's National Athletic Trainer Month! This Medical Minute will be presented by Ashley Buechner, the Head Athletic Trainer at Gwinnett Medical Center Duluth.
Ashley received her Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training from the University of Maine in 2012 where she worked with Division I football, basketball, softball, and field hockey athletes. She is an ImPACT-trained Athletic Trainer and a member of the National Athletic Trainer's Association. Before becoming one of two Supervisors of Sports Medicine, Ashley helped develop the Concussion Institute at Gwinnett Medical Center in 2013, serving as their Head Athletic Trainer.
