The Cultural Arts Alliance at Johns Creek was developed as a non-profit partnership of arts and cultural organizations, individual artists, and other entities with a mission to promote the visual, performing, and cultural arts in order to enhance the quality of life within the greater Johns Creek area.

The Cultural Arts Alliance was founded in 2010 by a committee representing seven arts and cultural organizations: Johns Creek Beautification, Johns Creek Arts Center, Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra, Autrey Mill Nature Preserve & Heritage Center, North Atlanta Dance Theatre, Chopin Society, and the Shakespeare Theatre. It has since opened membership to include organizations of a diverse set of arts, entertainment, and cultural disciplines and individuals active and supportive of the cultural arts.

The Legacy Center - A committee of the Arts Alliance is working to have a cultural arts center built in Johns Creek. Referred to as the Legacy Center of Johns Creek, it will be a multi-use, multi-discipline arts center designed to be used not only as a comprehensive cultural arts venue, but a place for community, social, and business events. It is envisioned to be a strong economic driver for both the arts and the greater community of Johns Creek.
